NFTE-BSNL (CHQ) MEETS ADMINISTRATION

 The NFTE was represented by President, General Secretary, Secretary

        Com. Rajpal) and Com. Manish Samadhiya (President SNATTA).

         

                                                 The brief on items discussed is as below :-

1)   Rules of recognition of non-executive unions in BSNL :-

     Management agreed to review the matter in the changed situation and

     considering other aspects.

2)   Upgradation of Sr. T.O.As:-

     The management indicated the proposal will be placed before BSNL Board for withdrawl of the
     orders   dated 11 th  October, 2011. The NFTE can submit its suggestions and more inputs in
     the matter.

3)   Relaxation of service period from to 5 years to appear in JTO departmental

     quota examination :-

     The Court at Ernakulam is being approached for clarification. Expeditious  action is being taken in 
     this  regard. The examination will be declared as   soon as clarification is received. Uptodate 
     vacancies will be  taken into   account.

4)   Pension to regularised employees :-

     Management agreed to issue the necessary clarification and TSMs  regularised on or after
     1/10/2000 will  be entitled for pension.

5)   Regularisation of Casual labourers :-

      Management expressed unhelplessness in the matter due to supreme court

      decision. Union representatives pressed for regularisation of

      compassionate ground cases.

6)   Upgradation of qualified and trained RMs as Telecom Mechanic :-

     The issue will be discussed further.

7)    Distribution of DOT Assets :-

      CMD BSNL is taking up the matter with the D.O.T.
