The National executive of NFTE BSNL in its meeting held from 15
th to 17th
October, 2011 at coimbatore has deliberated at length the present condition of BSNL
and proposal to retrench one lakh employees through the process of VRS. The meeting
has decided to organise indefinite strike to defeat the evil designs of BSNL management
and the Govt. The issues are so grave that one day strike will not serve any purpose and
the strike may prove a kind of protest. Apart from this the strike should be organised
when the parliament is in session.
Under the circumstances we request you to ponder over our proposal so that the
programme is chalked out accordingly. The NFTE BSNL firmly stands for struggle but
you will appreciate it should serve the purpose.
